Eyeliners

Permanent eyeliner is a PMU (permanent makeup) treatment that involves using a specialised tattoo machine to implant pigment on the lash line to replicate the look of eyeliner. The treatment, also known as an eyeliner tattoo, can be applied in a variety of styles, including larger strong wings, light lash enhancements, or smokey looks in many colours. liner can be applied in many styles and colors, from soft, natural-looking lash enhancement to a thicker defined line–the choice is yours.

Colour Suggestion

During the treatment you will look at colours. We recommend choosing a colour similar to your everyday eyeliners.

We will draw an ultra-thin, defining line to make your eyes pop and give your lashes a thicker and fuller look.

Eyeliners Treatment

Finally we will begin to implant the pigment into the skin using a delicate shading technique.

The pain threshold of each individual is different, but it is a sensitive area. Topical anaesthetic is used to help numb the pain.

With eyeliners, we tend to recommend black, charcoal or brown. This depends on the individual; some people opt to choose a more vibrant colour (e.g. green or blue). Just remember trends change and tattoos are permanent.

Immediately after a lash line or an eyeliner tattoo, eyes will be a little red, swollen and agitated (almost like hayfeverish eyes). The eyeliner will be quite an intense colour with a wet look finish. It will also look much thicker than the desired result due to the swelling. The swelling will subside within a few hours; an ice pack can be used to aid relief of swelling.

Eyeliner and lash line tattoos usually cause a little bit of swelling and redness. This usually subsides in a few hours and clients return to work the very next day. Daily care is essential to ensure the healing is at its optimum best, it generally takes 6 weeks for the eyes to completely hea

It is best to wait 4 to 8 weeks for complete tissue healing and color stabilization before you make your first touch up appointment.
